Mission’s Month at Zealous is an opportunity for the church to equip ourselves for the important work of eradicating gospel poverty. We have curated workshops, training and on-ground work to enable the urban church-goer to play an active role in missions.

A half day program with Pastor Ranjith Isaac from City Rock, Chennai. We will be learning about the urban church and its role in missions. Pastor Ranjith has a passion to take the gospel to the unreached people groups in North India by mobilising people in the urban cities. It is estimated that 97% of India don’t know Jesus. It is crucial for churches to be involved in missions to eradicate gospel poverty.

Local missions to 2 institutions in Pune to share the gospel.
Zealous will be stepping out to share the gospel and build our appetite as a church to be more active in missions. With a population of 7 million, the need is immense in Pune. We have a calling to step beyond the walls of the church and be vocal about the love we have experienced.

One year commitment to financially support 5 missionaries.
We have identified 5 missionaries working in the field across India. These are people that are faithfully serving God by sharing the good news and planting churches, all while undergoing persecution. We are looking to raise ₹5,000 per missionary per month for a period of 1 year. While this might seem like an insignificant amount, it makes a big difference for the missionaries. You can either choose to give monthly or give a lump-sum and the church will disburse it monthly.

A missions trip to Jharkhand
Under the supervision and guidance of Pastor Ranjith Isaac, we will be embarking on a 4 day missions trip to a village in Jharkhand that City Rock church have adopted. There is a school established there. Participants would serve at the school and visit the villagers in the neighbourhood. Once you sign up, our volunteers will be in touch to answer all your questions and help you prepare for this trip.
